The colors I use for my pastel drawing were chosen by what colors I see the most in those season. For the piece that represented summer I use orange, lime green, dark green, and brown because those were the colors that I see the most in the summer. For spring I used dark pink, yellow, red, brown, and grey. For winter I used navy blue, green, purple, white, yellow, and sky blue and for my last piece fall I used dark green, pink, red, brown, yellow and purple.
I choose to place my objects different ways because I didn't want the object to have to much light on them. So I place my objects in a way that they had shadows on some parts and light on the other.
The Objects I picked to draw for my pastel pieces were a cup, piercings and charger. I choose the objects randomly except the cup. I choose the cup specifically because it was going to be a little challenging to draw the light on it and draw the different colors on it to make it look like a real cup.
