My idea commemorates cancer survivors. My piece is for cancer survivors, patients and their support people. My piece will show the survivor that they aren't alone and that there are others supporting them and that no matter what, we still love them.

The process of making this piece was thinking about shapes that represent strength. I used spheres because I wanted to represent a cancer survivor with others surrounding them, showing that the cancer survivor is not alone. I used clay first, but the final piece is made out of carving foam. I am confident my piece looks like it represents strength. I’m learning that the triangle is not the only shape that represents strength, but how you put other shapes together. For example, I use circles for my piece but I surrounded it with circles and it made my piece look stronger because the circles are not alone; they are all together.

If I could put my monument somewhere, I would put it in the Boston Common. I would put it in the Boston Common because there’s a lot of people that like to run and walk in the park and it would make it easier for people to see the monument where other people are. It would be a good place to put it in because there's always events going on in the park and people would see it. If I couldn’t put it at the Boston Common I would put it inside outside of the Dana Farber Hospital. I would put my monument there because Dana Farber is a hospital where they treat patients that have cancer and it would be a pleasure for me to make a monument that commemorates cancer survivors and patients.

Challenge
One of the challenge in the project was choosing what media you were going to use and how or what color are u going to use. Other challenge in the project was thinking about what would your utopia look like and think about ideas.

Learning
We learn about perspective and about Orthogonoal lines. We also learn about Vanishing point. The vanishing point is the farthest in a drawing or a painting.

Growth
I got better at drawing 3D. I got better at drawing 3d because of the Vanishing point and the orthogonal line.

Feedback
Something that i dint like that much was taking along time talking about how we did because we could use like 30 minutes to finish our work. But every thing else was Awesome =)
